About the Band

Now based in Texas, Red Monroe has carved its unique and original place in music by curiously combining prog elements with punk and post-punk sounds of the late 1970's. Think: Pere Ubu, the Clash, the Vibrators meets Pink Floyd, Yes and Rush.

Red Monroe's live show - a combination of sweat and a singer or two falling into the drums regularly...has garnered acclaim and fans from Los Angeles to Nashville to such festivals as Toronto's "Canadian Music Week" to mention a few.
