About the Artist

Description

I'm a 17-year-old male and I'm looking to make some (moderately [can't get my hopes up too much, can I?])  cool electronic music. My favorite subgenres of electronica are rave, house, trance, happy hardcore, and drum 'n' bass, but I've only made songs in four of those genres--all except for rave (my first rave track is in the works, and is still sounding like generic rave :3 ). If you review anything of mine, I WILL review something of yours, too. Or two, depending on how I'm feeling at the moment. <:P If you've reviewed something of mine recently, you'll have noticed that I haven't reviewed you back yet. Trust me: I WILL get you your reviews. I'm not a greedy dilweed, I have standards, despite my teenagerness. I'm not that good at producing yet, nor do I have the time or money to make anything groundbreaking, but give me a break, I'm a teenager without a job who just earned his driver's license in August '06. ;)  I DO have the full versions of ACID Music Studio 6.0 and FL Studio 6 (Producer's Edition), though (thanks, Xmas!), so no more free software crap for me. I'm hoping to eventually get Reason and the full version of the Vanguard VSTi.

Collaboration

Not many skills yet...I'm still just getting into music-making and the like, but I'm sure I'll get better as I go along (and as I get more money). I've only done one collab as of this writing, and it was only with vocals with some lyrical input-creativity, so I don't really know how good I'd be at collabs, but meh. I'm steadily gravitating away from full-on loop-fests, and my feel for beats has vastly improved as a result. I'm still working on getting more of a feel for melodies and the like, as evidenced by my beta Highest Mountain release. Maybe I'll just need to wait until next year, when I take AP Music Theory...*shrugs*
