I'm 17 and from Portland, Oregon. I've been working on developing my skills in producing electronic music since Fall 2004, and it's really become an obsession of mine.

Comments are welcome, but try to keep them constructive. "Cool song, check out my stuff" is a completely useless review, don't expect it to be returned. Ratings don't matter to me, and I don't care where my songs sit on the "charts", but when I rate other people I try to have some AcidPlanet courtesy. I give 10s to songs I throughly enjoy--- the song doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to resonate with me. I also give 10s to songs that clearly have had a lot of effort put into them. 9s and 8s are given to good songs with flaws that detract from my enjoyment of the song somewhat, but shouldn't be interpreted as a insult. If you receive a 5-7 I'll be sure to give you a detailed review because the track needs serious work. I only give 7s and below to songs that have huge problems. 8s and 7s are very far apart on my scale. I won't give less than a 5 unless the song is stolen or is entirely loop based... I don't want to make anyone cry, I'm just trying to be helpful.

Sorry if this scale makes little sense, but I think it's better than giving nothing but 10s. R=R if time permits: ;)

 

 

I've been playing with this stuff since I was 13 when I first got ahold of copies of Acid and Soundforge. In 2004, I finally began using FL Studio, and that's when I developed a real interest in music production. It's quite addictive, really. Now 17, I continue to develop new skills with every composition. I've made this my hobby because the feeling I get after putting together a solid track is one the most gratifying ever. I don't have specific plans for the future, but it'd be nice to collab with other artists sometime.
