Sounds from the UK....probobly the best place in the world for Dance Music, I've had the pleasure of being part of it since 1984. From DJ to Music Producer, I've done it all, not forgetting my friends who have helped me along the way. Big word up to Templeball, M.I.A, theriffmeister,DrN l to name a few. Being a DJ for so long, it kinda influences my music, I try to imagine what I would feel if I was on the floor listening to the tune and how a DJ would mix the tune. Hardcore Techno was my first love, but the really hard stuff, labels like Industrial Strength & Mokum. I then ventured into Hard Trance, Techno and Hard House, which I still love and listen to. Dance events on my calendar are: Lighthouse, Industrial Heaven, Branded, Evolve & Gold. I have graced the decks at Dizstruxshon, Uprising and Phenomena.

 

 

Started as a DJ back in the mid 80's, playing at all the surrounding clubs most nigths of the week. Did a summer season in Spain in 89...excellent time...if you ever get the chance to do it...DO IT!!   I worked for a PA company, putting out sound systems to dance events all over the UK for about 5 years and that's how I got into Dance Music. I have played at big UK events such as..Dizstruxshon, Uprising, Phenomena, Lighthouse, Industrial Heaven & Gold. I was signed by a DJ agency called Total Promotions for a while but realised I could make more money on my own. I have been writing my own tunes now for about three years now, but not been on The Planet all that long. Like I say in Style, I usually write and play Hard Dance, but I'm willing to try anything else.

Hardcore techno was a main influence, closely followed by hard trance, hard house and techno.

 

 

Cubase SX3, an arsenal of VSTi's and plugins, Soundforge 8, Acid Pro 5, Yamaha DJX keyboard (just for midi, not for it's sounds)  Reason 3, Technics 1210 Turntables, Pioneer DJM 600 Mixer, Computer....3.2gig P4 HT 800FSB Prescott, 1gig generic ddr ram, Creative Audigy 2 Platinum soundcard.
