Morphology Feat. OshO by Audio Morphology - listen
A Stand-Up Job to Audio Morphology!! What we really like about this remix was the fact that the artist actually played all of the saxes in the track. We also like how he stuck close to the original arrangement and used Shannon's vocal in a clean true to Jazz environment which we as a band have never been able to reproduce so far. We went into this remix competition hoping to hear an artist create something that we could not duplicate and Audio Morphology nailed it...

Madd Props on this remix!! A mixture of Midtempo Breakbeat Funk with a clubby undertone sure to please the stiffest of feets. We Love the horn arrangements and think this makes for a well produced positive vibe remix.

About the Contest
Orlando, Florida-based OshO blends electronic beats with live and organic elements. Former Prophecy Collective vocalist Shannon Denise brings soulful vocal stylings fused with the band's emotional brand of lounge and Latin hip hop grooves. The band's decidedly funk-infused sound was a highlight at Remix Hotel Miami 2008, where their poolside set rocked the Sony Creative Software Cabana balcony in a performance that was one-of-a-kind at the National. Missed it? Ya snooze, ya lose. You can get a taste of the Cabana Experience by visiting our tour blog.
About the Artist
Osho: A philosophy that the greatest values in life are awareness, love, celebration, meditation, creativity and laughter.Osho: Also a five piece band from Orlando that was formed in 2006 blending organic and electronic elements to create a unique sound of innovative international rhythms underneath intelligent, prolific female vocals. Their style covers many genres from sultry lounge to funk influenced live guitar and bass guitar riffs with just the right amount of dj vinyl scratchings and hand percussive inflections. Rumor has it that the real magic begins when seeing this band live. Many comments have been made to the effect that it is hard to believe you are listening to a live band with live instrumentation since their musicians seem to flawlessly merge with many different styles of international electronic rhythms. Although this band has only been recently formed since 2006 all five of their musicians are seasoned professionals of the music industry. Their many eclectic talents range from live bands to nightclub and lounge Djs with many years of studio production to add to the 15 years of entertainment experience.
Due to their drastic differences in musical backgrounds there is no one category that can contain the “Osho Sound”. So join the new movement by Exploring, Inspiring and Creating… And Listening…
