From the Judges

Dustin Michael (Experimental Division Nashville), Lewis Davidson (Technorganic Recordings), Latino Saint, and Spyder would like to personally thank all the artists who took the time to give their input and submit remixes for this contest. There were way too many remixes that made it into our “Best Of” bin, and making a decision on the top 10 took forever. And finally – we have made the decision – here are your winners for the “Latino Saint vs Spyder” remix contest!

About the Artist

Tyler Ramos a.k.a. Latino Saint
The world of Hip-Hop has a rising contender within its ranks - taking the stage with an unparalleled voice and a skill that commands the utmost attention, Latino Saint continues to battle his way through the vicious gauntlet of the American Hip-Hop underground. Over the past 12 months, Saint has won extraordinary credits and awards such as: taking 1st place in 2004 on VH1’s Save The Music Foundation “Song of the Year” website in the Hip-Hop/R&B category, and being hailed and noted as “Performer of the Year” and “One of the best albums of 2004” by XPOZ Magazine. Latino Saint and his “La Familia” have performed with world-renowned artists such as Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, B2K, Fat Joe, G-Unit, Chingy, Bubba Sparxx, and many more.

Latino Saint’s new album “Half-Breed” is available online and through the Experimental Division Nashville imprint.

Derrick "DJ Spyder" Murph
Emerging from the massive Florida Breakbeat scene during the 90’s, Derrick Murph began crafting his skill as a DJ early in his professional career - But it wasn’t until the turn of the millennia that the dreadlocked DJ discovered the sounds of Drum n Bass were calling him home. Since his new life in Drum n Bass began, Derrick has become a member of many organizations and labels such as Technorganic Recordings, Hot Wax Recordings, VSL 1200, BWSS (Big Worm), and many more. His credits include performances with Panacea, DJ Craze, Dieselboy, AK1200, Sage, Marco, and Aphrodite, and his current hit single “Make Some Noise for the DJ” is topping the DnB charts and getting rave reviews.

As with most Experimental Division Nashville remix contests, anything goes. But, keep in mind that Technorganic Recordings is looking for the hottest, hardest, most ruthless Drum n Bass and Breakbeat remixes to be pressed and released on vinyl. Will you be able to make the final cut?
