ILONA EUROPA 3 Remix Contest
"Live Forever" to All of You Remixers!
I am once again amazed and impressed by all the talent waiting to be discovered on AcidPlanet. As a result of this contest, I've discovered some really fantastic talent and I look forward to my journey to grow musically with some of you! I love you all for the creativity, hard work and talent you showed on this contest! This was the most exciting of all three of my AcidPlanet contests based on total creativity and participation. In fact, the competition was so tough, I couldn't select just one winner! I am thankful to SONY for allowing me to award TWO Grand Prize Winners (NEOCLUBBER with TWO winning remixes and LATINSAINT with one) and numerous other Runner-Ups (see below). To choose the others became more difficult because most of you are just great.
LIVE FOREVER was arranged and remixed by Dan Solovitz, the winner of my second AcidPlanet contest. This song you have all been working on for this contest actually hit the Billboard Global Dance Traxx Chart in May. I am certain that part of the "buzz" that helped this song chart was as a result of all of you working, sharing and playing your contest versions on radio and clubs. I am eternally grateful to EVERY PARTICIPANT IN THIS CONTEST and to SONY for helping us reach the Billboard Charts. WOW! This fall, the Maxi Single of LIVE FOREVER will hit the market and we'll include the two winners' versions on this release. This is my personal way of showing the world the incredible talent on AcidPlanet and hopefully helping the winners gain radio play and the recognition they deserve in the marketplace.
