Rocking out of Vancouver, Cory Lee has been a force in music since the age of eight. Her debut album on Sextant Records contains the hit "The Naughty Song," which ACIDplanet.com is offering for you to get down and dirty with.

About the Artist

Prepare to meet Cory Lee, a bold and beautiful new force shaking up the world of music. This singer/songwriter was born and raised to an extremely musical family in Vancouver. She started vocal training at the age of eight, where she was introduced to musical theater. By appearing in dozens of musicals, she realized her passion to perform and started building on her own artistic foundation.

Stage performing brought about the offer of a recording contract from Sony Hong Kong at the age of 15. At the same time, Cory began a career in film acting and chose to remain in Vancouver. Cory's experience in live performance lead her to form the all-girl R&B group Ris-K. Soon, Cory decided it was time to embark solo so as to define her own career. Cory is now performing around Vancouver, and focusing on the release of her debut album with Sextant Records.

The album showcases her talent not only as a singer but as a songwriter as well. She co-wrote 11 of the 12 tracks. "My songs are very personal," says Cory, "because every song has been a situation I've gone through. I know people are going to relate because my songs come from my heart." Cory is currently putting the final touches on her show with her dancers and organizing a tour for 2005.

Cory's debut album mixes elements of R&B, jazz and pop into her own infectious style. Her first single, The Naughty Song, is hitting airwaves and nightclubs across the country this month. So, be on the lookout for this talented new artist, with her attention-grabbing vocals, irresistible song writing, and killer dance moves.
