Notes from the Band
We'd like to thank all that participated in the t contest and took the time to use their own unique style and sounds to make some great remixes. We had to go over a bunch of remixes several times to pick a winner and it was far from easy. We've decided that we will have our top 3 picks released on our labels, Shane Ehlers "Succession Music" and Jeff Belfi's "Ascension Records", as well as having another contest brought to you by Ascension Records and Succession Music giving all artist's a chance to make an original track and be remixed by us (Blue Room Project) and possibly other artist in our roster. This was a lot of fun and very inspiring to hear all the creative minds at work.

About the Contest
If you pick up a certain vibe from Blue Room Project, it’s likely because they’re cut from the same musical cloth of most ACIDplaneteers; a couple of guys working hard and staying true to their musical vision.
Blue Room Project wants to make you a part of that vision by offering the masters from “Distro” for remixing.
About the Artists
It was nine years ago that these two came onto the NYC club scene, first behind the decks. Young and fresh DJs, making their way through the circuit of clubs and lounges that only existed in New York at the time. They were lucky enough to be a part of the experience that has played a big part in shaping them into what they are today. First hitting the dance floors across the States and parts of Canada, they retreated to the studio and reemerged with newness that is reaching across land and sea, to the most diverse of places. Landing on some of the top electronic labels and meeting great artists throughout, both Jeff & Shane were able to take it a step further and introduce their own labels.Jeff Belfi started Ascension Records in spring of 2006 and the label's future is looking bright. Staying strong and hitting top 10 on most download sites, this label has something fresh.
Shane Ehlers is preparing his label for launch in fall 2008. You can expect to hear some very emotional sound that will also play well on the floor. With their success to this point they stay true to what drove them early on. To them, you are their friends...and they hope to continue creating music that fulfills passion in themselves as well as others.
