Welcome!
I discovered Loop based music toward the end of summer of 2006 and let me tell you that I love it. I have an weird taste in music from Bach to Rob Zombie; and I mainly partial electronica because of it's fluid non-lyrical in nature which makes it perfect for background music in gaming. I've been playing role-playing games since 1979 and a very avid AD&D (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons) player. Actually, there are other tabletop rpg's I do play as well: Cyberpunk, Everway, Tunnels & Trolls, RuneQuest, Space Master, etc... and the music I make are slated to be used as background music because there are no vocals and they help set up the tone for the evening.

History
Not much to tell. It was during the summer of 2006 I discovered AcidPro and been fooling around with loops more for gaming purposes... but it's kind of growing and expanding.

Style
I'm going to have to go with Electronica on this one. I like the flow of the synth (sounds like a George Lucas movie doesn't it?).
